Explosion cheerleaders did an outstanding job at this years Reach the Beach Competition bringing home a National Title!

Explosion cheerleaders worked as hard as ever to wow the fans this year at Reach the Beach. The Blast team led the charge fighting hard against some stiff competition bringing home a solid 4th place trophy. Our Fuze team showed a ton of heart and worked through a very tough routine to also land a 4th place trophy, outshining 5 other teams. The senior 'Extreme' team showed the most heart and perseverance as they pulled together to land an honorable mention amidst 13 other teams. Our stars of the day were our Lyrical Ballet team who danced their way into receiving a National Championship and the coveted jackets! Congratulations to all of our teams, although you may not have swept the competition you are still # 1 in our hearts. Lets go get em at Worlds!

Explosion Cheerleaders Tear it up at the Encore Cheer and Dance Championship!

What a great weekend the girls had at the Encore Cheer and Dance Championships! Johnny's Angels led the way with a beautiful performance. They floated like angels to keep their First place streak going. Our Blast girls brought the heat and landed a well deserved First place trophy. Their routine was nearly flawless. Last but certainly not least was FUZE! What can we say about them but WOW!!! Their routine was so good and tight that they not only brought home the first place trophy but the award for the best tumbling of the day...oh and a little thing called 'GRAND CHAMPIONS!!!!' Have to also compliment our cheering section for representing our girls LOUDLY! Be sure to show your appreciation for all of our athletes by signing the guestbook!

Explosion Cheerleaders Bring Home 2 State Championship Wins!

Incredible job by the Delaware Explosion Cheerleaders at the DCCA State Championships this year.  Johnny's Angels lyrical dance team literally took the floor first and wowed the crowd.  They floated like the angels they are and brought home our first State Championship win of the day.  They were followed closely by the cutest tiny team around, the Sparks.  They performed as if they had been doing it forever and were awarded a first in Exhibition.  One of the hardest fought battles of the day was by our mini team, Blast.  These ladies battled against 5 other teams and brought home a well deserved 2nd place trophy.  Each and every week this team gets better and better!  Our Sr. Hip Hop team, Bomb Threats, took the floor with new members this week and did exceptionally well by bringing home a 2nd place.  A lot of hard work went into getting these ladies ready and it paid off!  Fuze took the floor next and did an amazing job against a large team as the categories were combined.  Their efforts brought home a 2nd place trophy, however, in our eyes and hearts, they are 1st!  Rounding out the day was our Sr. level 4 team, Extreme.  As usual, they wowed the judges and crowd and landed our 2nd State Championship of the day!  The Explosion Family did an outstanding job on the floor but the coaches and parents were exceptionally proud of the sportsmanship and camaraderie shown towards the other teams at the competition. 

Explosion Cheerleaders and Dancers did a phenominal job at the Cheer for Charity Event this past weekend.  168 teams from all over the tri-state area competed and the Explosion family faired exceptionally well.  Sparks led the charge with yet another first place trophy.  The girls looked great.  Blast brought home a 2nd place competing against 5 other great teams.  Our Fuze girls fought hard and brought home a 4th place trophy against some of the top teams in the area.  Our senior level 4 Extreme team did awesome and picked up a 3rd pace trophy fighting against 5 other teams.  The stars of the day were the dance teams who both picked up first place wins.  Johnny's Angels performed beautifully while our senior Hip-Hop team, Bomb Threats, rocked the gym!  Congratulations to all of our athletes who performed! 

The Explosion Brings home a ton of hardware at the First annual Family Foundations Competition!

Terrifc job by all teams at the first annual Family Foundations Competition.  Sparks brought it on with a first place finish in their first non-exhibition competition.  Blast really shined and fought hard against 5 other teams to bring home a 2nd place.  Fuze showed everyone how strong they were with yet another 1st place trophy.  Johnny's Angels, our lyrical team, flowed like they were on clouds and was awarded a 1st.  Our stars of the day was the Extreme team.  They went out and owned the floor.  Not only did they bring home a 1st place trophy, they also won Best Tumbling as well as GRAND CHAMPIONS.  That is their 2nd Grand Champ trophy this year!  Well done by all of our athletes!

The Explosion Dynasty Rocks and Rolls at the first Top Flight Competition!

Amazing performances by each and every one of our teams as we bring it hard to claim victory at every level.  Fuze came out and set the bar high for the entire day with a highly charged routine.  They outshined the other teams and rocked the first 1st place trophy of the day!  Sparks, what can we say, you guys came out and redefined CUTE!  The facials and enthusiasm was off the chart..1st place trophy #2.  Next we throw Blast against 5 other teams and, as expected, they smoked the competition.  This team has come a long way and looked fabulous... 1st place trophy #3.    And what do you say about Johnny's Angels....They floated like butterflies.  The lyrical team gets better each and every time they compete.  You girls are amazing...1st place trophy #4.  Extreme, Extreme, Extreme...what better way to finish the day then to watch our co-ed-crazies go out there and blow the judges away.  Off the chart performance... 1st place trophy # 5!!!  Special congratulations goes out to Katie Deisem and Sammi Ponsell for their 1st place performances!

The Explosion Dynasty Rocks Delmarva Winter Splash!

EXTREME!!!!  What an amazing performance!  This team took it to a whole different level by switching to Co-Ed at the last moment.  They not only brought home the first place trophy in their division, they also brought home GRAND CHAMPIONS  aaaaand  recieved a FREE BID to WORLDS!!!!  One word  AMAZING!  A special thanks goes out to Kurt 'Cheer Machine' Bentley for stepping up to the challenge.

BLAST does an amazing job against 5 other teams to bring home a very close 2nd place trophy and a 2nd place bid to Worlds!! 

FUZE takes home the 1st place trophy in an amazingly close competition! In addition they recieve their 1st place bid to Worlds!

Sammi Ponsell did a terrific job and brought home 1st place in dance solo and cheer solo!  Great job Sammi.
